ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Oso Varro (She/They), also known as Laura Soria-Galvarro, is a Latinx cartoonist who has been creating original characters and stories for over 20 years! Once a Scholastic Art and Writing Awards Gold Medal & Key winner in both Comic Art and Animation, this DMV native is hoping to create comics with impactful and diverse stories for all to enjoy.
I just completed Kids Comics Unite’s 2023 Intensive program! It helped me improve and evolve into an artist & storyteller ready to start their career! I completed The Sequential Artists Workshop in 2022 as well, which I highly recommend!
